I'm into mysteries, big time, esp. maverick woman detectives who take no crap and have sexy boyfriends. :) Also big into spirituality books. I love reading about earth based religions, spiritual paths/growth, energy work, angels, mediumship, earthbound spirits, healing, goddess stuff, deities, ascended masters, personal growth, manifestation, abundance.

A new author in Mysteries, Karen Olson whose book SACRED COWS was published last September 2005. Her main character is a reporter but she fumctions like a detective in her search for the story. She has a sexy police detective boyfriend. From your description of things you like, I think she fills the bill. I really liked her book.
